ILR for child born in UK

Post by puneetdwd » Thu Mar 05, 2015 12:14 pm

My daughter is born in UK while we were on Tier 1 visa
Now me and my wife both going to apply for ILR next month.
We are thinking to apply naturalisation British passport for our
Daughter once we get ILR however just in case we have to travel will her tier 1 dependent Visa (valid till Nov 2015) still be valid ?
Please let me know.
Thanks
Puneet

She should not have a problem travel as long as her visa is valid.

Thanks CR..our visa category would change from Tier 1 to ILR
And she would still be Tier1 dependant?
My concern is will the immigration officer ask whose t1 dependent is she? Thanks again

They will have your visa history and you can explain that you will be apply for registration as British Citizen on form MN1 under section 1(3), which is an entitlement for a child born in the UK.
