Tier 2 ICT - Resignation & Departure from UK

All,

I am in the UK on Tier 2 ICT long term visa (employer sponsored). Although my visa is valid until end of 2016, however I have submitted my resignation with my employer as I have got an offer in a different country where I will be moving to soon.

I would like to know if I am required to leave UK before my last day with the employer or can I stay couple of days beyond that. Any guidance will be much appreciated.

A few additional days should not be a problem. Issue will be when you continue staying in UK even after your visa becomes invalid. The usual process is that once you complete your last date in your organisation, they will have to report your departure to home office within 10 days.
