PLEASE HELP ... CoS with less salary than actual contract

Post by hshokouhi » Mon Mar 09, 2015 7:29 pm

Hi,

I'm currently on Tier 2 General visa and going to change my employer, today I got my CoS details but my New employer put the wrong salary, the salary is still in the acceptable range and it is above 35500 so there is no problem with eligibility but because it is less than what I got on the contract, they advices me to put this salary on my application to get the visa and they will pay me the agreed amount, Is it okay to do so ? I have an appointment in couple of days but really don't know what to do...

Thanks

what's the salary mentioned in the advert ? If they have specified £35500, then they need to pay £35500 (not less or more) as per rule.
If they mentioned the salary in a range, then they can pay within the range. First confirm the same with your employer.
