ILR child apply citizenship

Post by kevin_imb » Tue Mar 10, 2015 9:24 am

Hello there,

My wife & me just had ILR approved, we did also apply ILR for 4 years order daughter mistakenly (we thought it was necessary as she was on dependant visa under tier2 while traveling around) , whose was born in the UK. Now, my question: Shall I register her as British citizen right away (if so which form please) or have to wait for 12months? Please help.

And last question is how long the naturalisation takes, as we plan to travel at beginning of May?

Many thanks
Kevin

Thanks, do you mean she can apply the citizenship immediately please? En, if takes 3 mths then we'd better do it while come back from the holiday, the reason I asked was worrying the cost would be more after April :)?

The price is £669 .

I did an application for a client and it was successful in 2 weeks.

They are really fast these days.

You can apply using NCS, they will photocopy all documents and return the originals to you, which means you would be able to travel.

Please bear in mind that the price goes up on 6th April. The fee of £669 Obie quoted is the current fee. I would suggest you get your application done through NCS soon so that HO receives it before the 6th April.
