HSMP JR(ILR) proof

Hello,

I applied for HSMP before April 2006..However I got my approval letter in June 2006 (and stamping of visa in Nov 2006).

How do i convince the case worker that i applied before April 2006 and there fore fall under HSMP JR(ILR)? (This would mean that i require only 4 years for ILR and not 5)

I don't have courier receipt for my date of posting..Will Home office have that (which would conform that they received my application before April 2006)
