Ive been marraied now since january 2013
I have just applyed for my wife for the first time.
Paper given in mirpur on the tuesday 10th march
My wife has had a message on her mobile saying
The visa application for Gwf ref no: (gwf0******) was forwarded to uk visa and immigration on 10/03/2015
What does this mean?
And i still have not recieved a email just that 1 mobile message?
Is there anything wrong?

Hey ... my hubby applied 1 day before u frm isb ... And he only recieved a text exactly same as u and also he didnt recieve any email either

hi ab112 all documents need to be originals. If gerrys do require copies they will make it themselves. Thats my understanding. Maybe someone else could comment too.ab112 wrote:Hi all,

I think the photocopies are for the bhc. Gerry's is just a courier service. I remember when I submitted my documents on the 2nd march in khi the gerry's officer who was serving me told me photocopies are not necessary anymore. The bhc make photocopies of the docs they need to keep in their record themselves. But its completely your choice if you want to send photocopies. I chose not to send them. you can get all these other updates by emailimg them through their website by providing gwf number date of birth etc of applicant, hope this helps.

In pakistan (Dina) she recieved her pass result and paper's within 7 working day. Delay's may be because off where you have taken it or how busy there are.

Hey that's so true , my call history was printed in colour and to save time I printed it twice lol and I did think that this looks the same what if they look at the photocopies and get confused lol but as ppl keep saying photocopies are not needed or are only kept at Gerry's/ Bhc.
