Can the FORM AN be filled by typing or has to be handwritten

Post by jimmybhathena » Sun Mar 23, 2014 8:08 pm

Hello Forum Members
When I applied for the Permanent Residency, I had filled my form by typing on the PDF form and not hand written the same.
Can I do the same for the Form AN?

The Form AN guide suggests the following and hence I am not sure if they are expecting that it should be hand written only?
You must ensure that your name, date of birth, and the place and country where you were
born are clearly written in BLOCK LETTERS, in black or blue ink
If anyone has any information then it will be helpful and thanks in advance.

Regards,

Jimmy

Hello,

I am just wondering whether you actually submited hand written application or typed in electronically...? did you had any problems or your application was accepted...?

Thank you for your time to reply my questions.

Kind Regards

just Called in nationality checking service and they confirmed that it can be either. you can do it by typing it in. which in my opinion its better.

Thanks in advance for your time guys.

Just make sure that you do not complete the referee section yourself by typing in the details. This page should ideally be handwritten by each of your referees.

Hi,

What tool are you using to fill this form? Form I got from the website doesn't allow any edits using Adobe Reader.

Thanks

It appears you can do so using Adobe Professional... See below post.
