Accommodation - supporting documents.

Post by navodwickra » Mon Mar 16, 2015 10:22 am

Hi all,

My wife is already in the UK with me so this is for her extension. Just having a tenancy agreement for both our names is enough or do I have to have a letter from the letting agency also?

Hello

Just to add, I saw someone wrote that all supporting documents must be dated within 28 days off application. (bank statements etc.) I cannot seem to find this written evidence on the ukba guidelines, can you please help is this true?

28 days applies for letters. Bank statements , utility bills and contracts are not letters. For an example I have to ask my employer for a letter confirming my salary and all that. So that should be with in 28 days.
