2 Queries for SET O

Post by buddieshouse3399 » Wed Mar 18, 2015 9:51 am

Hi All,

Your assistance is required.

I was filling the application form Set O but got confused with the below 2 questions.

I initially came to UK as student dependant in Nov 2008 and then in March 2010,
I applied for Tier 1 General from India.
I'm salaried and working full time for the same employer for the past five years.

Which date should I mention for 7.11 ?

Section 7 - Personal history
7.11. How long have you lived in the UK?
years: months:

And what do I have to submit for Section ?

Section 11 - Documents
11L Tier 1 (General) migrant
For the period before you were granted leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant, documents showing that you met the relevant requirements of the immigration rules

Much appreciated.

Thanks

For question 7.11 you can write your total years and months in the UK.

For Section 11L, this only applies to those applicants who got their 5 years qualifying period combination of Tier 1 general migration AND highly skilled migrant, work permit holder, innovator, self-employed lawyer or writer, composer or artist.

If you are applying for indefinite leave to remain on completing five years’
continuous stay in the UK made up of leave as a Tier 1 (General) migrant and leave as a highly skilled migrant, work
permit holder, innovator, self-employed lawyer or writer, composer or artist, in addition to the
relevant documents in 11A, you must provide the following documents:
