tier 2 to general visa

Hi,
I am IT professional working as contract in UK in tier 2 ICT visa.
Is it possible to shift from tier 2 to general through some umbrella company? Cooling period exists for this?
Is it possible to get job offer from one organisation and sponsorship from umbrella company?
How far can we trust this umbrella company sponsorship procedure?

As has been said many times on this forum: Umbrella companies CANNOT sponsor Tier 2 visas... It is against the rules and if they are found out (which is inevitable) you will be up a creek (so to speak).
