Absss,

Had the money taken out on the 16th March, and have not received any email or post from home office. should I be concerned and call them on Monday.

I'd say if they have taken the money you can be sure that they have received your application, so no need to worry

And the waiting begins. Am a bit nervous as I had a court issue 3 points and £60 fine due to not being able to pay a speeding conditional offer because I was away with the army. I did my own subject access request anyway with acpo and found this was not on my criminal record anyway.

Hi Tangie,
Reading your acknowledgment letter. It is slightly different to mine at the end. They added the following paragraph at the end of my letter:
"We will notify you be letter if we are not able to decide your application within six months from the date you submitted it and will advise you of the new time frame for deciding your application"
Do you have this paragraph anywhere in your letter?

I have just checked my letter... this paragraph is on the next page, maybe it just was not scanned / photocopied...? I think the letter is standard and we all should have the same

Members are reminded that we do not tolerate discrimination relating to; gender, race, sexuality, disability or age on this forum. I think britishenglish was referring to an unfortunate stereotype by western governments. However, please do stick to the topic in question - March 2015 Naturalization application timeline
