ILR for Tier 2 ICT

Hi All,

Is there any major rule change happend from 06 April'2015 for switching to ILR from Tier 2 ICT.

I heard from one of my friend that Tier 2 ICT applicants will not be eligible to apply for ILR after 06 April'2015. Is that correct?

If not, can anyone tell me when the ILR window will be closed for Tier 2 ICT applicants?

I don't know that this has been 'closed' as such, but as it took five years to qualify and the route closed five years before the date you quote... it seems as though this will impact only on very very few people, such as those who didn't meet residency requirements...

I came to UK in Nov'2009 and I am eligible for ILR in May'2015 ( I have a gap to split it I have to wait) . I hope, I can still go-ahead and apply in May'2015 as you hope its not closed.

Please correct me if my understanding is not correct.

Tier 2 ICT visas issued from 6 April, 2010, do not qualify for ILR, hence the April 2015 date (5 years from 5 April, 2010)
You don't state the details of the gap of which you speak, so it will be difficult to say.
For example if you entered in November 2009 then left and re-entered on a new visa issued under the new rules, then you might not qualify.

I came to UK in Nov'2009 on Tier 2 ICT and have NOT changed to any other visa category or diff VISA.
Entered UK in 08-Nov-2009 & Left UK on 23-Apr-2010
Entered UK in 14-Nov-2010 & Left UK on 12-Nov-2012
Entered UK in 23-Jun-2013 & staying here till today.

Continuing in the same visa category & visa and have just extended the same VISA 2 times within UK (2012 & 2014).

1) First query - Hope the above info helps, I hope I can go-ahead and apply in May'2015. Isn;t it.

2) Second query - Also I have planned to do my split as shown below. In the 20-May-2012 - 20-May-2013 year, I have some UK paid annual leaves (went to my home country), I have payslips for this 24 annual Leaves and P60 as well. Will they count these days into 180 days gap or they will exclude these days. Thanks for your help.
