Minimum salary for settlement in the UK clarification

I have been employed by a company on a 5 years visa. They will be paying me 30k. Am i entitled to ILR after the 5 years or do I need to be earning 35,800 as per the new rule?

Am sure within that 5 years my salary can increase to 35,800 or more. Does this apply or do I need to be earning this amount from the start of the 5 years?

When you apply for ILR.
