I guess it all depends on which city did you apply from, My wife applied from Karachi on 09/02/15 on the 02/03/15 it had not been assessed by an ECO so stil waiting. Which city did you apply from?

If you are a British citizen yourself wouldnt your child be eligible for a right of abode or something along those lines, I might be wrong, hope someone with better knowledge can reply to you question. but have a look at this, fill it in for your child. https://www.gov.uk/check-british-citizen

Hello Sean2606 i just sent mail for a update on 19th of march and received the same mail which i received on 12 by their own this is the mail which i received after asking for a update.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status and found that a decision on
your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being
conducted. Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer will
contact you once a decision has been made or, if necessary, during the
consideration of your application. Standard processing times will not be
considered under this status.

I dont understand how to escalate my application can u tell me how to do it thanks

Then that means that the info they gave u about not been assessed by the eco is incorrect as it has been assessed and is in process

Go to the same email form the one you used to request an update from and in the box labelled 'Question' enter all that info there.

Hope this helps

Anybody else applied from mirpur and not received a reply yet?
Online application: 09/02/15
Documents submitted : 18/02/15

Nervously waiting a reply
Feels like the people that they not going to give the visa to they hold onto their case, and who they are giving the visa to, are hearing back in 2/3 weeks
