on this forum People r waiting for more than 6 months and some r waiting for over a year now and still no news.
Dear its been only a month and u sound like its been a year.
Sit back relax it will take its time and if u r lucky then u'll get it quick otherwise expect 6 months atleast.
UKVI wont give u an update if its less than 6 months.
Eventually sooner or later everyone will get their approval by the grace of GOD.

Can anyone clarify for me whether requesting my original documents back will automatically cancel my application for naturalization?

I applied in early Feb, didn't use the NCS as there were long delays to get an appointment so had to send my passport with the application. I'd like to visit my family in May and I now worry my decision and documents will not be returned in time. Having rang the general UKBA helpline I was told if I asked for my documents back it would automatically cancel my application (no refunds issued). But reading this forum it seems some people asked for documents back and got them without invalidating their application. I am confused! Gov.uk website says that in some cases request for documents will cancel the application but you'll be told at the time of requesting the documents (no further details).

Has anyone requested the documents back and got them AND still got their approval?
