How is Cardiff please?

Current Situation: Tier 1 G , have spent 5+ years in the country
Want to Apply same day ILR with 2 dependents

Just booked Cardiff as could not find anything else at all.

How is Cardiff Please? I have either seen Very Good cases or Extreme cases where in straight fwd applications go on hold as well.

Any ideas/tips please?

Current Situation: Tier 1 G , have spent 5+ years in the country
Want to Apply same day ILR with 2 dependents, questions:

1. There are no bookings available till the 6th Now in all centres. Is this normal or all slots have gone because of fees increase. I am tensed now and don't know how to get slots - none available in Glasgow as well and I live in Reading. I prefer Croydon but I know its most busiest so If something in Cardiff, Solihull, Liverpool or Sheffield does come up - which one is preferable b/w Wales, Solihull, Liverpool or Sheffield please?

This could be the reason but i have read in the other forum that if you book your appointment beofre April 6 even if your appointment if after April 6 you will be charged acc to old fee

2. I was only out of the UK for a couple of weeks each year on Annual Leave - since I was not outside UK for long at all each year, so do I still need get a Employer Absence from UK letter please?

3. When booking online, is asks What Form where I choose SET(O) and then it asks me Which category of leave are you applying for? - What do I choose here - I am not applying for Tier 1 (G) as I am applying from T1 (G) to ILR, so should I choose 'Other Main Applicant'? - but I am applying with 2 dependants.

You should choose 'Tier 1 General' as this is your current visa status.

I have used Cardiff few times for my family visa applications and our ILRs as well. My experience was really good, not too crowded and pleasant place. We didn't have any IT issues or holding applications etc. Having said that all our applications were straight forward
