FLR(M) + ILR at the same time

Post by n8net » Mon Mar 23, 2015 10:41 am

Hi all,

apologies if this has been asked before..but I wanted to be sure.

I will be applying for ILR this week on the basis of Tier 1 G - 5 yr rule

my wife whose PBS dependant visa was issued in August 2013 and had been
in the UK from Feb 2014, should apply for FLR(M) ? ( set m is? not an optin because of qualifyinf period and dont want
to extend PBS depednant due to cost)

a) can she apply FLR (M) at the same time as I apply for ILR ? as both of our visa expires this March

b ) what documents does she need to attach ?

c) please note that I will be applying at the same time as well for ILR. so hw do I overcome the problem of having to send originals
with both applications as I understand both have to be seperate applications sent to diff addresses ? any1 with previous exp. ?

thanks

as u can apply 28 days before ilr qualifying period so my suggestion is send your ilr .when u receive your acknowledgement then send your wife application with all the documents and photocopy of your passport (all pages) and brp also u have to write a covering letter that ho should hold your wife application till they decide yours and that all your original documents are with them already .attach acknowledgement copy as well.

Then I guess simple send both the applications and in your wife application also include in covering letter that as soon as u get the acknowledgement letter u will send them for reference so ask to hold your wife visa . About Cohab letters include
1 Nha cards
2 mobiles bills
3 council tax
4 tenancy agreement
5 home bills ( electricity . Gas , telephone )
6 any doc letters addressing u or your wife
7 statements
As she is here from last one year u don't have to prove 2 year cohab letters just include as many as u have covering last 1 year . Hope this helps

Hi,

thanks again. congrats on the visa. so you must hv provided copies for the FLR(M) ? (for any overlapping evidences)

since I am doing postal, just worried how this is going to be treated.. there is a good chance FLR(M) being put to a backlog.

if anyone done similar thing, please share ur exp.

thanks
