Personal leaves - Any Absence evidence for ILR application?

Post by swetha2108 » Fri Mar 27, 2015 2:46 pm

Hi All,

I am going to apply my ILR in May 2015. I am very confused on SET O form (6.2 and 6.3 sections). As per the guidance we need to provide absence evidence for all work related holidays.

All my holidays are personal( visiting my Family in India and Singapore) ( see below)
Overall 250 days out of country

Year Holidays
june (2015 - 2014 ) 57
june (2014 - 2012 ) 57
june (2013 - 2012 ) 36
june (2012 - 2011 ) 100
june (2011 - 2010 ) no holidays

I have not exceeded 180 day per year rule. So I think I am very much eligible to apply for ILR.

My only conern is, I can't able to provide any proof since, all are personal holidays( no business trips). Though i am on employment all the years , expect in june (2012 - 2011 ) -100 days - went for my marriage. I have payslips, bank statements, P60 and P45 with me.

Please can anyone of you suggest what kind of evidence i can provide. Does anyone experienced the same situation?

Please help me out.

Thanks all in Advance

Information you have given is too little to comment anything.

Have you been with the same employer all this time? if yes, get a letter stating your joining date, your position, most importantly your holiday entitlement and that you have not taken any unpaid leave. If you have moved jobs, then suggest getting letters from each of the employers.

I was in the similar situation, however had switched jobs and also travelled for work quite often. In the end had to get letters from all the employers as stated above.

Hope it helps.

worked for 3 companies. I have offer and relieving letters. Do I need to ask specifically absence letter(stating all my holidays are not unpaid leave)? or else offer letter is sufficient?

Congrats and thank you very much for sharing all details!

One quick question, had you provided P60 for last year only or for all years?

Thank you in advance!
