New Entrant or Experieced..already 26 years old

Hi All,

I have graduated in 2014 May from UK University.

Currently in Tier 4 Student Visa. I am already 26 years old.

I got a COS from a company. But the problem is am I New entrant or experienced.

That doesnt depend on your age..

If you are getting paid at an experienced rate then you can go for 5years Tier 2 Visa.. If at an New entrant level then 3 years.. and for extension you should be at experiened level of salary

Definetely an experienced rate. one of my frend is rejected because he is over 26 and trying to get visa on new entrant rate, but this case was the application from outside UK.

Not true.. we applied for a colleague as new entrant.. she was 31. i was 27 myself when applied for Tier 2 (Switching from PSW)

It doenst depend on age... Lets wait for Gurus advise

Switching from Tier 4 does not require the experienced rate, regardless of age.

Hi,

I worked on PSW for one month and later switched to Tier 2(general) worked for 1 year 1 month , I want to change the job,new employer has provided me COS, do I still be considered as new entrant or experienced,and I am 26 years old.Please let me know.
