If you are applying before 7 April, 2015 - you can use old form (June 2014) where Biometric Enrolment is not needed.

Hi, If we use the Old form can we post on Saturday which is on 4th April? Or should the form should have reached the home office people before 7th April?

As its a long week end this Friday, how this is applicable?

Thank you,
Satwick

And also does the Home office ILR approved letter sufficient for the application or need to wait for BRP?

Can we send BRP later?

Thank you,
Satwick

I was about to post what Kirtay already posted, its the date they receive the application, from vinny's posted link in other discussion:
6.3.3 What is the date of application?
6.3.3.1 The date of application is the date of its receipt by the appropriate "receiving authority", as explained in paragraph 6.3.2, prescribed by paragraph 4 of the British Nationality (General) Regulations 1982 and 2003 as amended.
That is why, if your ILR's 12 months are completing on 01 April then you can send your application on 01 April as it will be received by Home Office the next day.
Being British is a state of mind.
