Change of Name BRP

Hi All,
Thanks a lot for helping me in getting my Tier 2 visa extension.
I have applied for my Tier 2 General visa extension 3 weeks back and I has received the BRP Card.I was just curious to see that my wife's BRP card is been displaying her last name as per the old passport rather than the new one. Even her initial visa holds the last name as per new passport. Do I need to change this? If yes could you help me on the process to change this?
Do we need to pay and give the biometrics again?
What if passport has married surname & BRP has maiden uk??
