Partial Refund of Fee after ILR

Post by zabiela » Tue Mar 31, 2015 10:55 am

Hello,

I recently had a successful ILR application at one of the Premium service centers. I havent got my BRP though.
Today, i got an email mentioning that i have been refunded £400 (out of the £1493 paid). I am clueless as to why this has happened.

Anyone had the same experience? Also, if someone could guide me on whether i should contact UKVI if this is actually an error.

Thanks

it is not unusual - when there are delays they refund premium fee (£400) even if the visa granted on same day.

You don't need to take any action... why you need to contact them? after all its your hard earned money;

Just a word of caution. beware in case someone is trying to get your personal info saying they will refund.

Yes, that's what my first thought was, but the email appears to be legit. Either way i have emailed their refund team to see whats it about.
