Dear Members/Moderators,

I've applied for my ILR (SET(LR)) application a few weeks ago and waiting a decision.
As I understand I will need to apply to change my dependants visa from Tier2 Dep to FLR(FP).
My question is can I apply by post for the FLR(FP) before a decision is made (and before 6th of April). I can then send a copy of my biometric when I receive it. This is to avoid the increase in fees and the new £200/year NHS fees. I have two dependants, so the cost will mount.
My application is pretty straight forward, Student(6Y), PSW(2Y), then Tier 2(2Y) and from the looks of it people are receiving approvals pretty quickly.

Also please add my timeline to the spread sheet:

Application sent: 09/03/2015
Money Taken from account: 12/03/2015
Acknowledgement received: by email 23/03/2015 by post
Biometric letter received: 26/03/2015
Biometric recorded: 27/03/2015
Approval date: Waiting
Docs received: Waiting
BRP: Waiting

Thanks

   That's annoying ! If someone going to ILR from tier-4 student visa, how can they show earning of £18600 ? Does HO even know what's the current minimum pay in the UK !!! I guess have to start working full-time after the my course is complete
Hi brother, The income requirement is for both of you. Your income wife income = £18600. If your wife works then it should help.
Thanks brother for reply, to prove the income requirements Payslip/job confirmation letter mentioning annual pay ok ? If you show payslip, how many months payslips u have to provide ?
Also, about the English language test, which one would be easy to take ?

Last 6 months salary is sufficient.

If u r getting same amount of pay every month than u r on Salaried Income.

If u r working on Per hour rate than u r on Non Salaried Income.

If with current employer for 6 months and more than choose Category A

Otherwise Category B.

From 6 april only ielts and Trinity college london tests r acceptable (few centres only). See UKVI website

Hi,

I am going to apply for ILR(10 years long stay) in August 2015.

Can anyone please advise what set of documents to submit. As per application form, I am going to submit
all passports (covering all 10 years), Life in UK Pass Certificate & Original Degree Certificate (English Language).

Is there any other documents which need to be submitted??

Subject Access Request: I have heard that this speeds up the application process.
I have looked at the Home Office SAR form. I am not sure what type of records to request from HO when filling Subject Access Request form??

Please advise.

Date of Entry: 4/9/2005
Total Absence days: 125

4 Years - Student
2 Years - PSW
4 Years - Tier 1 General

@Hamzaakbar

If you withdraw appeal you are overstayer

Still you can make fresh ILR application in 28 days

But in case may Allah not and HO become naughty and refuse you then no right if appeal

So be careful

Best is soon after 1 April inform Tribunal and HO appeal officer that you finished 10 years and will maintain that you qualify for ILR

May be that HO withdraw appeal or judge in court tell HO to reconsider the case

Hi WYL,

Congratulations! The whole thing took less than 6weeks -that's very impressive from HO. I presume your application is striaght forward. It would be helpful if you can share the summary of your immigration history. Thanks.

Hi Friends

I have got the decision today and its Approved. Its a bit weird that the letter is just a general notes (not addressed to me) that says header "These notes are for information purpose only and do not convey the grant of ILR" and then below the header says you application for Indefinite leave to remain has been approved

There is one more letter which states that I am returning all your document that you submitted to support your application and wait for your BRP (this is addressed to me but doesn't confirm the approval). Could anyone who received approval recently confirm that this is what they got.

Inshaallah everyone who are waiting will receive their approvals soon.

Thanks

I received my docs on 27th march, the decision is dated 26 March. Still waiting for the BRP. Is anyone else in similar boat?

I am in same position. I don't think this is a problem. Perhaps it's a template thing.
