As long as your evidence demonstrates a durable relationship with you and your partner and he or she is exercising their treaty rights in the UK then on those grounds you will qualify as a family member of an EU national and RC will be issued.Hotwings wrote:Hi all recently made application for RC. Been with partner living together with proof for a year and have a baby together. What are the chances RC will be issues even though we haven't been living together for 2yrs+ but have a baby together

Can I ask if you are married or if its for an unmarried couple?
Usually unmarried couples would have to be living together for two years to show their durable relationship.
Was your baby born in the UK and is the baby a British?
Could you share your time line please ?jutt786 wrote:got my rc today issued on 26-3-15 thanks everyone
Yes living together over a year and a child should be more than enough evidence to show you have a durable relationship with your partner and family links in the UK.We are unmarried couple. Baby was born in uk. We been living together slightly over a year. Is having a baby is evidence of durable relationship?.

I'm getting really desperate as I really need to travel and my FP expired a month ago so I'm stacked in UK till I get my RC. Any chances I will get it before 20.04? I wonder what do they do with my application for so long... We are married and my husband is employed full time, I entered with a FP visa. It looks straight forward for me.
Thanks. I'll also let you know if I have any news.jojoedel wrote:Hi we applied almost exactly same time... well ours was COA 15/1/15inna.p wrote:Hi Everyone,

I work full time also
I sent an email off... the replied saying my case is being delt with in date order, I see someone who sent theirs in December just got their rc... so since we are January... hopefully be here in the next 4 weeks
Good luck, il keep you updated if I receive mine
Wot i conclude from others experience, if they asked about the time you finish work, they may visit you again after that time. My suggestion is; be prepared for that. Anyways wot do u reckon, why did you have house visit? are you over stayer? or unmarried couple?JohnDee wrote:....Application sent on 29th Oct 2014....![]()

.....Today we had home visit around 8am by home office, but my partner and me were out for work so they have asked questions to our house mates about us and the response from house-mates was positive how genuine couples we are etc..at last immigration officers left by asking what time I finish my work .... now I'm a bit confused will they can come back or was it sufficient for them ?? Any type of suggestions guys ??![]()
