February-2015 Naturalisation Application Timeline

I have noticed that there was someone had the same timeline as mine in the last year, and got his approval on 12.04.2014, so I hope I will get the approval by 12.04.2015.

Got approval today (dated 26th March 15) for my wife (applied on 10th March 2015) but no news about mine (applied on 11th Feb 2015). But Approval letter has got my application acknowledgement reference. Any Idea why is that?? Hoping that they linked up wife application with mine and mine is in a post. Will ring homeoffice on Tuesday to confirm this.

Date of debit or clearance of fees: 03/03/2015 (First attempt by HO on 25/02 did not go through, called HO on 03/03 to make the payment)

approval letter received: 04/04/2015
Date of ceremony: will call Local authority on 7/04 to arrange a date.

But yours is by marriage, mine is via Tier 2 + ILR, maybe we have a different process?

Congratulations! so that the additional letter we have to receive from home office. I was just going to call and see your comments, I think I should have to wait before calling council

1. Approval letter from Home Office, which also told me something on the lines that "you should get an invitation letter from your council".

2. Next day, I received an invitation letter from my council, telling me of a free ceremony next month.

I don't know if they have changed it now, but my wife's application is made in March 2015, so I will let you know if there are more than one letters from Home Office, but I dont think it has changed.

Hi peeps,
I received an acknowledgment letter (19th Feb) from the homeoffice, and they have also returned my documents. The HO requested that I change my name to demonstrate good character requirements. I have since changed my name via a solicitor and sent them a copy of the "change of name deed" in early March. To date I have not received an acknowledgement letter regarding name change. Question: for those of you who have had to provide further information to HO, does the HO acknowledge every letter/documents that you have provided? OR is this simply a waiting game

I believe its 21 days from approval. I.e. Date on your approval letter.
