Original Payslips for Family Visit visa?

Post by smithamol » Sun Apr 05, 2015 1:39 pm

Hi,

My husband is on Tier 1 and I am his dependent. I am unemployed but my husband will be sponsoring my mother who will be visiting me from India during my antenatal and postnatal period.

Does he have to provide his original payslips to UKBA for her to apply or just the copies are enough?

Please let me know if the below mentioned documents are sufficient.

Application form
Passport
My mother's and father's joint bank statement
CA letter detailing ny father's and mother's property details
My bank statement (original)
My husband's bank statements for six months (original)
My husband's payslips (photocopies)
Utilility Bills
Tenancy Agreement on my name and my husband's
No Objection Certificate from property agent
Letter of Invite from me and my husband.

Please advise.

Thanks

You mean a General Visitor visa not a Family Visitor visa.

Your parents/mom will need to provide evidence of strong ties to India. A certified copy of payslip should suffice.

Thanks. It is just my mom who would be visiting.

What do you mean by certified copy? Signature by the employer? My husband's HR department said that they do not sign or stamp any payslips. :(

A photocopy that is certified as a true copy of the original. The Post Office can do it for a fee.
