CCJ and FPN for BC

Post by Jah_bless » Sun Apr 05, 2015 8:12 pm

Hi Friends,

Need some help. I got FPN in 2013 for speeding and was fine £60 and 3 points on licence. I applied for ILR on the bases of long stay and it was approved with no issues. In mid 2014 i was issued with CCJ from the court on a credit card. I have made arrangement paying monthly since January.

Now I'm due to apply for BC, will this affect my application? I will be happy with any help.

Thank you

You do not have to wait for 3 years after a CCJ is issued. A CCJ is not a non-custodial conviction, it's a civil matter not criminal.

If the CCJ has been settled or a payment plan arranged, then it should not adversely affect an application.

You must declare the CCJ and include a cover letter stating that you're in an arrange payment plan with proof from the creditor.
