Tier 2G visa extension, do i need maintenance fund?

Post by ericsundiu » Sat Apr 04, 2015 10:54 pm

I am going to apply for tier 2 general visa extension. (Under same employer, promoted but within same SOC code)
My question is do i need to have maintenance fund for 3 months?
What legal documents do i need in order to apply for this?

All helps are appreciated, thanks
:) :)

I donot agree. I was required to show maintenance during my last extension and I provided letter from sponsor. They also certified this on COS. Otherwise I guess I would need to show a three month Bank statement with minimum of around £925 ( not sure of the exact amount) but definitely you need to show maintenance for 1st month

It's not required for you as you are already in Tier 2. But it will be helpful if your employer mentions in the CoS, in case you are applying for your dependent, if applicable.
