Do I need to pay the NHS Surcharge? got tier1 gen extended

Dear Friends,

My Tier-1 General Visa (No Dependents) extended last month from 19th Mar 2015 to 19 Mar 2018. Will be completing 5year time by Jan 2016.

I am confused with the NHS Surcharge? Do I owe any payment to UKVI?

Is the payment collected if I visit a NHS GP ?

I am planning to make a trip to India coming July and will they collect £600 (£200 * 3 years) while coming back to UK? The changes are confusing , some one could you please shed some light?

I want to make sure that I am doing the right thing and avoid troubles at the time of ILR with these changes.

You will not need to pay as you got your extension before today.

The surcharge is payable at the time of application for entry clearance or visa extension.
