Tier 2 ICT short term staff partner

Hi All,

am in UK as a tier 2 ICT short term staff partner.

my visa expires august 2015.

i have a company who would like to sponsor me now.

does anybody have an idea how they would go about?

am from india. do i have to go back to india to get a tier 2 visa?

please share some insights.

thanks for your reply.

the employer might recruit me for a permanent role which they were not able to fill.

will the employer suggest me the best available option for me or do i have to get an idea and be prepared about the visa?

are you sure that i will have to go back to india get tier 2 before i start working? or please tell me how does this all works?

the employer would have to get a T2 sponsor licence before they can recruit under T2 and once they have the licence a resident labour market test would have to be carried out to show that there is no candidate from the settled workforce to fill the role

are you sure that i will have to go back to india get tier 2 before i start working? or please tell me how does this all works?
you can continue working as a PBS dependant while your visa is valid but you can only apply for a T2 visa from the home country

one more question.

my wife is the primary visa holder and in case am getting the Tier 2 and coming back here again after aug 2015 can she come along with me as dependent or she still has to serve the cooling period?

once you have your T2 visa and are back in the UK she can switch to PBS dependant in-country
