British Citizen Spouse Visa Working restrictions

Hi All,

My wife is on spouse visa got recently and i am on ILR, is there any work restrictions for her being on spouse visa like Doctor or dentist in training ? as she is doctor

How the spouse visa different from PBS dependent visa?

Hi sak20099,
PBS dependent visa can apply for jobs except those that comes under "Training" category. Uk trained doctors undergo foundation training programme which come under those and there are others like for example Senior House Officer, so this kind of roles will be restricted. All else should be ok.

FLR-M doesn't have this restriction as far as i know, but resets the 5 year counter for ILR.

i got ILR based on Tier1 General and going to apply for Naturazation next month
She was not on any other visa before.
My wife got spouse visa recently less than month ago and arrived recenly a month back.

Ok, ignore jprose comment then in relation to pbs dep and reset clock etc as not applicable to your spouse.

Your spouse is free to work on the visa. It would say on the visa if there was a restriction.
