Teaching in Canada-help needed

I would like to contact any UK primary teachers who have made it through the maze of information and documentation. In particular teachers that hold the pre. B.Ed Teachers Certificate. I want to know if I stand a chance in Canada (Alberta) with this certificate. Does age matter too much?
