ILR (Long residence) from FLR(M)?

Post by seamonster » Thu Apr 09, 2015 4:44 pm

Hello, I have been residing in the UK for more than 10 years (a combination of tier 1, tier 4 and tier 5 visas). However, unfortunately I cannot apply for ILR via 10-year long-residence route because I exceeded the requirement of being abroad for a total of maximum 540 days. I recently applied for FLR(M) visa and have been granted the initial 30-month leave to remain. By the end of this 30-month, I will have to extend for another 30 months. Also, I would have overcome the 540 days issue!
My question is: Will it be possible to apply for ILR (long-residence) rather than waiting out to apply for ILR after 5-year completion (after extension) of FLR(M)?
Thanks!!!

You can apply anytime once the 540 days over the 10 years has been reduced.

Thanks Obie, I needed some assurance because there was no mentioning anywhere of FLR(M) and FLR(LR) transfer. I feel much better now! :)
