**Please help**- Naturalization appointment in a day

Post by DJ007 » Sun Apr 12, 2015 9:01 pm

Dear Friends,

Please help me getting over this dilemma as i got NCS appointment soon (on 14th April).

I am applying for Naturalization on basis of 5+1 (ILR) criteria. Finished my 12 months on ILR on 04/04/2015.

While going through the Booklet AN i came accross the conviction section which says " Driving while uninsured or having a disqualification wont be disregarded if though its outside of 12 months period", which got me worried as i got:

1) TT99 Offence (disqualification for 6 months for totting up points) on 28-04-2010
2) TS40 Offence (3 points) on 15-12-2008
3) IN14 Offence on (6 points, letting other people drive uninsured) 04-06-2008

I mentioned all my above conviction in previous applications but never had issues getting Ties 1 extension or ILR.
So, my query is:

1) My last conviction was around 4.5 years back but it was disqualification so is it worth taking a gamble of around £1000 bucks?
2) Or shall i just let go £65 NCS fees and wait for more time, but how long?

Please suggest if anyone was in same situation. Will be great help.

God Bless
Din

All your offenses are more than three years old, so personally I think you should be fine. But since its today so I'd go to NCS and show them all this and take it from there.

Based on my conversation with the NCS lady, they will not recommend sending your application away if they don't think it's got a good chance of being approved. So the best thing to do is to have your appointment and get your advice there.
Naturalisation App: 25/3
Receipt by UKBA: 26/3
Email Ack/Fee taken: 13/4
Approval: 8/5 (Dated: 2/5)
Ceremony: 27/5

Passport App: 3/6 via PO
Receipt of App: 4/6
Interview Letter: 10/6
Return of Docs: 11/6
Interview: 15/6
Printed: 16/6
Arrived: 17/6

Thanks @fwd079 and @James Brodie for your swift reply. Applied for naturalization from Ipswich NCS office, as suggested Lady said
any traffic offence outside of last 3 years bracket should be fine. So, hopefully should be fine.

Thanks Again,
Din
