Seems like BHC has slowed down on applications from all cities, havent seen many people of here with a visa granted in the last few weeks. Hope and pray everyone gets their visa soon.

Wish the BHC could take into account that having a child and keeping the family split this way has negative impacts both on the family and society itself

Hi,

Why was your 1st application refused and did you hire a solicitor? What about for this 2nd application? Are you doing it yourself or is a solicitor doing it for you?

Hi,

My first application was refused because of a very stupid mistake made by the lawyer..at the time neither me or my dad had experience on visa applications..I applied cat a&d employment and cash savings.. My wage is 13,000 pa I needed 30,000 savings the lawyer said to me 25,000 savings will do..so it was refused.. And obviously I couldn't appeal because there was an error..but now I have over 32,000 savings.. So hope everything goes well..this time we have used a lawyer as well as common sense and checking everything myself as well as my husband checking everything

So because of your lawyer's inexperience you've had to pay 2 application fees and 2 lawyers fees, wow!

As it was clearly his/her fault, didn't s/he offer any refund etc? Are you using a new one this time?

I've come across soooo many visa refusals, because of incompetent solicitors who are unable to do their job properly. Thankfully, I didn't rely on a solicitor and handled my wife's application myself. I didn't have any previous experience either. All the requirements can be found on the gov.uk and if one doesn't understand something, forums like these are very helpful. Always do your own research, don't rely on anyone.

@i.need.help

I wasn't aware information was available to be honest I trusted the lawyer and thought obviously its his job..and I've never paid lawyer fees..its a family lawyer.. So its free haha..but to b honest I don't think he was aware himself LOL...i was busy with a newborn also and knew my dad would take the best advice..anyways Allah knows best..it must have been the way he wanted it..i most certainly believe its to test my sabr.. inshallah onwards and upwards...in the past year I'd say I'm ready to become a immigration lawyer myself haha

Brumgirl wrote:Hi guys, im new here.

I'd really appreciate some help in this department as im obviously new to this.

Basically, i got married in december to my husband. Im in birmingham and he's in pakistan right now. Regarding doing the form online, will i be able to fill it out online here and submit it. Then what happens? Do i have to make an appointment for him in islamabad to go and submit all the supporting docs? Or does he have to fill out the form online and make the appointment himself? And about payment, do i pay here online or does he pay over there?

Id be so grateful for a response. Thanks!
You can do pretty much everything from here, fill the online form, submit it, pay for it, print it and make an appointment for your husband to hand over the documents.
May Allah swt make it easy for us all
