It's just a waiting game anyways my application took exactly 6 months

just to let you know i receive the long awaited letter of approval today. I applied on the 2nd of sept 2014.

i hope those who are still waiting will get theirs soon i know how frustrated it is to be waiting for so long

After waiting six months and four days, Thanks to allah, I got my approval today, it is one of the most painful to expect something, but when it turns up finally its very joyful, believe guys I hate to wait something let alone to wait that long, and that demn bloody waiting has paid its price.

I wish everyone of you specially to those folks who have been so patient since last year that you will by very happy and joyful soon, just give another days and it will turn up, and finally this is my timeline

Waiting is very hard.Every single day wait for a postman.

Called HO many times ...under process , under progress ---under consideration ---under process again..

My husbands approval has come today!

We emailed the home office on 26th September for an update. The approval letter is dated 28 March.

Came today - 9th April.

I never completed a timeline so briefly the application was made on 26th September via NCS Bracknell.

My husband is an Indian National with four years ILR, married to a British Citizen.

I'm sure more approvals are on their way delayed by the easer. It seems they are ploughing through the September approvals now.

Good luck to those still waiting. I am pretty sure you will get your approval soon.

Delays could be because of the Easter holidays.

As I have updated you earlier, I received my approval on 0nd of April 2015, and I am still waiting the invitation letter from the Home Office, the approval letter which I have received is stated to wait a ceremony invitation letter which will be posted by the home office separately, I am wondering if any one got the same experiance

yes it will take a couple of days to arrive, the adviced time frame is normally 2weeks...just be paitnet its on its way..
Mine was also delayed a bit. but I received it after a week..

I just received a phone call from home office but it was not 'the caseworker'. It was a 'senior contact advisor' who can only tell 'whether a decision has been made or not' and in my case i was informed that 'no decision has been made'. This is basically what customer service could inform you in the past....more grim...

Phoned on 14/04/2015 at lunchtime to inquire about the progress. Was told someone will give me a call back.
Received a phone call today (16/04/2015) to say that my application has been decided and was sent out yesterday (15/04/2015).
Nothing turned up in post today. Wait continues.

I have noticed from couple of cases that when you phone them or email them etc, they seem to come with the same answer of "case decided". Could it be that they just pick the cases from the bottom of the dusty pile/sack when someone contact them???
