April Restricted COS allocation

guys any updates on april allocations? any one got reply yet ?

just realized this month allocation date is 15th. not 11th.

29.22 Each application received for a restricted CoS will be scored in line with Table 2. See criteria. All applications received up to and including the 5th of each month that are not subject to checks, will be considered on the 11th of that month - the ‘allocation date’. For example if you apply between 6 September and 5 October, your application will be decided on the 11 October. Please note that the monthly application cycle for April and May 2015 will be:

a) applications received between 6 April and 16 April 2015 will be decided on 18 April 2015
b) applications received between 17 April and 5 May 2015 will be decided on 11 May 2015.

April 18th is a Saturday, so it would seem strange that this is the next allocation date...

according to ukba its going to be today. so i guess we will start getting info about decisions soon.

Hey guys, just letting you know that my HR department got an email saying our CoS had been accepted!!! Massive relief as this had dragged on for a while.

Hopefully everyone else gets some good news today as well.

My employer requested for an Unrestricted COS allocation on 7th April and haven't had any allocations yet, I was just wondering if any of u can please help me with the unrestricted cos allocation timelines, my visa was refused due to a mistake in cos submitted earlier and now we need to make a new application for which a cos allocation is required.

Sorry if I am posting this query in a wrong thread but I don't see any useful information on the unrestricted cos allocation for this month

Hi there,

There is a difference between U-CoS allocation and assign. In order for the sponsor to be able to assign a U-Cos, they need to be allocated it.

I too am in a similar position waiting for my sponsor to get their U-CoS request allocated. I've been told (on this forum by Manci), that it can take between 2 days to 2 weeks, but could be longer right now due to it being the beginning of a new CoS year.

Im really hoping it gets done soon.

Hey Ash,

Have you heard back from your sponsors allocation request yet? I havent heard back yet and I really would like to hear from people who are in a similar position. My sponsor put in a request on the 9th of April.
