I've been little innovative - HO isnt going to give you the information and as we have seen some of the posts are taking ages to arrive - I called ECC to check if they have received anything for us so we can book a ceremony My excitement was short-lived when they gave me big fat No lol

Yesterday a guy called and told me they had not received any certificate and it is not even on his list.
I gave barcode and date and he eventually found it and he DID attach it to his file. He said when his file was created they did not bother to check this. So I sent the original certificate just in case but they did not even look at it!
Today a woman called and asking how I want it back. Second class or special delivery

so what do you think? Has anyone actually touched his file apart when payment was made?. I don't think so

jaweb, how do you know that they 'have not touched' your husband's appliation? what exactly did they say?

Your guess is as good as anyone else' here - there is nothing from that conversation that leads me to believe that his file is not touched, not allocated, not looked, not uploaded, not showered, not creamed or anything else under the sun for that matter

Dont read into it too much, there is no way you will be able to influence by worrying

Its comprehensible that they take time for entry clearance/granting ILR but so much time for citizenship is totally unconceivable.
