Student visa to EEA 2 and expired passport. Need help please

Post by gullposh » Thu Apr 02, 2015 3:30 am

Hello every one..
Its really helpful forum and want to thank all gurus who are ready to help everyone here .. Much appreciated 8)

Iv been came uk as a student and got refused visa on extension went through first tribunal and got rejected again but finally after a long time
i won my student visa on upper tribunal, even did not get any visa or passport back after 6 month won upper tribunal.

Well iv submitted my EEA2 application on 19 December 2014 .
As they already had my pending tier 4 application along all documents

Got COA after 2 weeks submitted eea2 application
And my passport has expired in January 2015 Even they already had my passport for pervious case.

So my question is
Would they proceed my application as my passport has expired
Or should i request them back for passport?
And how many chances in my case to get easy successful decision as i mentioned my all story .if so, then how long would they take to make a decision as its already been 3 months to submitted EEA2 aap.
Waiting for your kind reply Gurus. :)

The Home Office will only issue a residence card on a valid passport - an expired one is not valid.

In case of expired passport the Residence permit maybe issued on A4 sized page. Before that you maybe called by caseworker for an interview along with your EU national partner.
Please donot send PM. Write in open forum to facilitate others too.

Its irrelevant if you are married or unmarried . I am Unmarried , I got the questionnaire , But I know 2 others who are married who got the questionnaire.

It doesn't matter whether you are married or not.
