Tier 2 ICT (from Sep 2010) - whether elegible for ILR

Hi,

My VISA status is as follows :

VISA Tier 2 (ICT) Established Staff - 28/09/2010 to 01/05/2011 -(Came to UK on 10-10-2010, Away for 2 month- Feb & March 11)
VISA Tier 2 (ICT) Established Staff - 24-02-2011 to 24/03/2014 (3 years)
VISA Tier 2 ICT Long term Leave to remain (issued on 15-4-2014) Valid until 25-03-2016

I came to know that if my Tier 2 ICT VISA is after April 2010, I am not eligible for ILR.

Even if I will live in UK for 5 year 6 month, Am I not eligible to apply for ILR?

Unfortunately, No.

However, since you entered before April 2011, you can switch to Tier 2 General within UK without cool-off period. OR you can continue with you current employer and extend your ICT visa indefinitely. You can then try to apply for ILR using 10 year residency rule.
