Why you guys dont even send a special delivery envelope to home office which they will use to send your approval letter. And just check online in the evening instead waiting for the whole day for the post man.

Bro every applicant already paid them more than enough so they should do this honor by using special delivery service which they can afford so easily

Applied 27th march got the fees taken out on 17th April was expecting to receive a confirmation as per other 27th March applicants. But that didn't happen.

Is anyone from or before the 27th March still waiting for acknowledgement from HO still??

Hi guys, I also applied on the 27th and fees deducted on the 16th but no email or mail yet for acknowledgement, I even checked my junk mail box too but nothing..

How about that! got home today from work and found a brown envelope
it was my acknowledgement letter dated 16 March.

Is it possible to correct some of my husband's details.
He applied on 2nd, HO received on 3rd March, fee was taken on 6th, ack email on 9th, letter on 11th. Everything else is correct

Thats a good point!! I did just that with my response to HO enquiry, guess what? I forgot to copy the tracking number from the special delivery envelope!.............

I have been checking my account every few hrs over the last week and the balance has finally dropped today, Saturday 28th March! So these guys actually work on Saturdays

The long-awaited brown envelope no 2 has arrived this morning - my application has been approved! Letter dates 21st April, received 25th April. At the same time, I got a letter from the council - the ceremony is on 21st May! Both came together, very efficient!!!!

Ceremony Invitation letter finally arrived. Unfortunately the earliest day my council has a ceremony place available is 2nd June, how do I arrange my ceremony with a different council when my council already has my certificate?

As far as I know you cannot but you can arrange a private ceremony for extra costs. Depends on which council. Mine does it for £150

Unfortunately looks like you guys have to wait long for the second wave of approvals. At the moment they are dealing with november, december applications simultanously

I think we owe some respect to UKVI as they have taken up additional workload to perform exit checks in light of what is happening in Syria and Iraq. No budget change or recruitment for them. Poor guys. At least some of us must work for them after approval to see how it is working for UKVI. I am sure they are one of the most worked organisations in the country and something or the other always keeps them on their toes.
