In the FLR(M) financial requirements (specifically section A) should the rule A – B ≥ C (link) be followed?

Thanks

This is a resourceful forum. Use the search option the question you are asking has been answered numerous times on this thread as well as the forum.

I would however recommend a book

Anas,

Nothing to worry about at all, Like you state yours is a legit case they are out there to verify this information. Last month friend of mine was interviewed & according to him they were very friendly & literally verified information he had already given them when he applied.

So make sure you have all your facts right and you should be fine. Keep us updated

Sorry another question... Both of us working. So, should we submit both payslips and bank statements for us or only me will be acceptable ??? As, my salary only well enough to cover all
Hi Janinah, when I consulted a solicitor, I have been told to just submit my partner's (sponsor) bank statements + payslips because his salary already got the 18,600 income requirement covered.
If his earning is not enough to meet the threshold, then you have to provide your income evidence too.
So the answer is YES.

Hey seamonster, thanks for your reply.
I will apply for 10 year long residence ILR, but I have few days short of 10 years, so what suggestion I got is:
Apply for FLR (FP) for me & My wife as FLR(FP) dependant to buy 3 weeks time.
When I meet 10 years criteria [9 years 11 months 3 days as I can apply 28 days before], I will apply ILR(LR) & My wife new application for FLR (FP) or FLR(M), whatever would be best. She will reach her 10 years long residence after 3 years, so I need 3 years visa for her.
Hey UK007 you are welcome! :)
It sounds like you have to go through a lot of trouble just to get those three weeks covered, but I am sure it will be worth all the effort and money!!
Also, that will give you more time to prepare for the ILR(FR) application and to make sure it will be a successful one.
Good luck to you both!

Thanks njoy1987. Yes my case is 100% genuine. Wife is British. She is on DLA, at the time of our marriage ceremony they came as well and we had more than 3 hours interview already. Later they apologised and allowed wedding. Now I can't understand what they want.

Dear All,
I need to send some supporting documents which were not available at the time of my application submission last week. I am confused about the address
I have received the acknowledgement from

UK VISA and Immigration
PO Box 3468
Sheffield.

FLR(m) guidance notes says that

15.Contacting us after you have applied
To send us more information about your application, write to the following address (not the one to
which you posted your application):
The Home Office
Initial Consideration Unit - FLR(M)
Lunar House
40 Wellesley Road
Croydon
CR9 2BY

not sure which one is correct, i had contacted Home office today and they said I should send at Sheffield address where i received my acknowledgement from but when I told them about FLR(m) Guidance, they also got confused and took my contact details and told me to wait for HO to contact me

please help, I need to send it urgently

Hi Imi99999

Send it to Sheffield address or the address from where you got the last correspondence from HO. If you send it to the address mentioned in guide notes it will take much longer to get to your case worker. Info you got last correspondence from Sheffield then that's where your application is being considered and it will go directly to your case worker. have done this in past and I'm telling you from my previous experience.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Thanks
Ali

Dear Members,

Hope you can help.

My wife came to the UK on an initial 2.5 year visa (she was given as standard 2 years and 9 month visa).

Visa start - 11/01/2013
Visa Ends - 11/10/2015

She has been out the country for a total of 79 days (visiting family in India) after she received the visa.

I would like to know when i can apply for the extension visa for a further 2.5 years. Will she have needed to be in the UK for a total of 2.5 years before i apply?
Also does she need to do another English test to show she meets the A1 Level or will the previous pass certificate be suffice?

Thanks

Can somebody guide which visa my wife (my dependant) need to apply?
Main applicant me: got visa on 14/01/2015 ILR on 10 year basis
Previous I was tier 1 general applicant
Wife dependant: visa start from 01/08/2014 to 15/07/2015 as a tier 1 dependant
As I change my category from tier 1 general to ILR on long residency.
Which visa did she need to apply to stay on my dependant? And what’s its requirement?
Please can anybody send me list of documents require for visa?
I have baby which born on 20/01/2015 after I got ILR .So I think she will get British passport straight away? Can somebody confirm it as well please?
Thank you guys in advance.
You need to apply through FLR (M) application for your spouse and she will have to spend further 5 yrs to be eligible for ILR. Bear in mind her previous stay in the UK will be null and void and will not be considered towards her ILR. Main requirement are minimum £18600 house hold income and A1 level English level certificate or equivalent, full requirements are mentioned in FLR M form.
As you child born after you got ILR so you just need to pick up passport application form from post office, attach baby's full birth certificate, your passport and ILR BRP and post it with the prescribed fee.

Hi
HO is calling interviews for English language requirements. They just want to check your English. What have submitted for English language.

Hi

Im planning to apply FLR(M) for my wife and I've got a question in regards to english language requirement.

My wife has done MBA from Pakistan and she got UKNARIC certificate confirming her qualification is comparable to "British Bachelor (Ordinary) degree" and she got the letter from the PK university confirming all the courses taught in English.

Would that fullfil her English Language requirement or she still need to give A1(correct me if Im wrong) english test?

Appreciate your quick reply!

Why does it take some applications less than a month and others longer? I understand if there are certain things that may not add up in application, but a simple extension should be processed in the same amount of time as others.
Ok I am bitter that we are sitting waiting for my husbands to come through but the whole process is so stressful and gives me such anxiety.
It's been three weeks since application sent and waiting for biometrics letter :|
