10 years LR - Same day appointment - Supporting documents

Post by andante.spianato » Thu Apr 30, 2015 2:20 pm

Hi All,

My status is below. As far as I know, I have not overstayed as I always have application/appeal or valid visa over last 10 years.
My question is
1. Can I apply for 10 year LR now using 1 day service?
2. What supporting documents do I have to provide?
- All passports & residence cards
- Covering letter (to explain the gap in visas)
- Anything else? Do I need to provide 5 years P60, or council tax bills? I only have them over the past 3 years, but not for the first 7 years...

Sep 2004 - came to UK under student visa
Oct 2008 - applied for PSW, got refused due to funds in bank, appealed, got visa in June 2009
Jul 2011 - Tier 2 (general) visa from work, valid for 3 years
May 2013 - current: Residence Permit as EEA spouse

Many thanks!!!

Sorry, can anybody help me with this?

I have read a few threads on PEO for EEA spouse, and it seems like it's not recommended since the case worker can ask me to prove that my spouse has been exercised treaty rights (will payslips and P60 cover this?)

If the case worker says they cannot approve my case on that day, can I still take my passport back and put my application on hold for 2 months, and then resubmit documents and passport at a later date? I need the passport to travel for work in 3 weeks :(

I think u should be fine with Premium Service. U would need following if you are going for Long Residence.

(1) All Passports
(2) Life in UK Test
(3) And if u had PSW in Past , It will cover your English language requirement
(4) Your Payslips & P60's would be great but its not the requirement
(5) From May 2013 , your EEA family member proof of Treaty Rights (Payslips , Bank Statements , P60 , Employer Letter confirming Employment)

Council Tax Bills or any other documents are not required but Its always good to keep and provide them if they Ask.

Best of Luck

Dear Forum Reader

Question: 10 years long residence (ILR) need to pay NHS Health Surcharge.

I would like to apply for 10 years long residence (ILR) application as premium services, should I need to pay for health surcharge?

Thank you

The surcharge is not applicable for ILR applications. It is only for entry clearance and visa extensions or visa switches.

Thank you! I will make appointment and let you know how it goes.

As I was refused PWS and had to go through appeal, my visas had 6 months short. As I read from the forum, I can request SAR form from the Home Office, but that will take too long for my case. Can I provide correspondences from the court for this instead? Is there anything else I could provide?

HOLIDAYS AWAY FROM UK DURING THE CONTINUOUS PERIODS

Name:
Date of Birth:
Passport Number:
ILR Application Date:

Template screenshot is attached. Sorry I don't know how to embed it in here.

The experience was very good. I was first one on Saturday, so just handed all my documents in to a man to register my case. Waited about 20 mins, got biometric taken. Waited another 2 hours and got the decision. I wasn't explained or questioned anything, but I guess I'm well informed by reading this forum and all my documents are very clearly laid out? Everyone is very nice and friendly, the building is newly refurbished. The coffee shop opposite does not open at weekend, but we had food with us. All in all, over the moon. Just have to wait another year for naturalisation, and I'll start the paperwork battle again

Hi
I am on Tier 1 general visa which is expiring next year in may 2016. i came to UK IN MARCH 2006 and i am looking to apply for ILR on the basis of 10 years long residency same day appointment system in march 2016. I need the proper guidence in this regard please. Secondly my wife came to UK in April 2014 as my dependent of Tier 1 General. I am bit confused on which basis i need to apply for my wife visa. Does she need to pass English language qualification for extension and whether i have to achieve an earning target of £18600 for my wife extension.

The main questions are
1. Which application forms do i have to fill in for my wife?
2. Does my wife previous period of stay in uk be included to get Indefinite stay in UK.
3. Do i have to earn 18600 for my wife extension.
4. Do my wife have to appear for english language exam for extension of visa.
5. My wife came to UK in April 2014 and she got Tier 1 general dependnet visa till MAY 2016. which route she needs to follow. Your quick response would be greatly appreciated.

I did write it down but I don't think they needed it. I think the case worker probably just crosses the section out when he reviews it. Remember to bring the payment receipt with you.

I don't know, but I'm glad they do now! £400 is expensive but well spent to spare you all the documents away for months on end and a length stressful wait!

I wasn't asked any question so I don't know. I don't think there's any place in the system that flags up when you overwork, but I could be wrong.

10 years LR PEO application

Post by justice007 » Sat Aug 01, 2015 8:08 am

Hello Everyone,

I am applying for same day Set LR (10 years long residence) in August from Croydon Peo.
I have been in UK from 2005 and spent first 7 years on student visa + 2 years PSW and last 3 years on EU Spouse visa (EU Residence Permit),
I would just like to confirm if it's ok to apply for same day application or there will be any issue ? has anyone with such immigration history granted Same day visa successfully.
I am providing following documents as evidence :

1. My Original Degree certificate and transcripts.
2. My Passport covering all history of travel.
3. Printed Itinerary (flight tickets and invoice) and spreadsheet explaining my travel history (Matching my entry and exit stamps on passport).
4. My P60's and Payslips (Online Printed both).
5. My Bank Statements of last 12 months.
6. Letter of Employment verification from my Employer stating my joining date and salary.
7. SAR file (I requested this to check my previous immigration history).
8. 4 passport size photo.
For my time spent under EU Spouse visa (EU Residence visa)

1. My wife's payslips and p60's (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa) (Online copies).
2. My wife's Letter of Employment verification from her Employer stating my joining date and salary her job title.
3. My Wife's original bank statements of 6 months.
4. Our joint account bank Statements of 12 months.
5. Our tenancy agreements (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
6. Council tax bills (annual) (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
7. Utility bills (Water and Electricity)(covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
9. Tv License bills (Annual)
10. My wife's passport original and one true copy.
11. Marriage Certificate original and one true copy.
12. 4 passport size photo.

Will this be sufficient enough to get Same Day Visa for Set LR (10 years Long residence) ?
Also, Payslips and P60's are printed copy from online account since our employers no longer issue printed copy however our Bank statements (Mine of 12 months and hers of 6 months shows same the amount getting deposited every month). Will this be sufficient enough as employers refused to stamp or provide any further info regards to this apart from Employer reference stating salary, time since joined and job title.

Many Thanks.

I will appreciate if someone can reply who has gone through similar type of visa and similar to my situation or any of your experts advise is really appreciated.

Hi Andante,

Thanks so much for posting above information on this post as it really helped me to collect my documents. I was hoping if you could tell me the P60s and Payslips that you submitted were original or online printed copies as my employer no longer provides printed copy of either of this and they refused to provide any further documents or stamps apart from Employers letter of verification stating job title, salary and joining date. Though i have bank statements of 6 months proving same amount on money getting deposited via BACS into our bank accounts.

Many Thanks

Hi
My Visa was granted in Same day.
I went to Croydon Peo. It took overall 3 hours from in and out. Very good experience.
I submitted all of the documents mentioned above.
Not sure if all were required or not but didn't cared. Got everything along with set of photocopy of each document in separate file.
Time spend under EU is counted however it will be under discretion of Caseworker but generally shouldn't be a problem I guess.
Wish you all the very best.

I went to Croydon Peo. It took overall 3 hours from in and out. Very good experience.
