Post by tvn_ramesh » Sat Sep 22, 2007 7:06 am

Dear Friends on this board...

My name is ramesh from Hyderabad, India;

Recently i got a job offer in UK and that company arranged me the work permit for 1.5yrs and contract letter and offer letter was sent;

taking those i applied for Work visa in hyderabad VFS office; Its is about 10 working days since i have applied for it;

Can any of you out of experience can tell me how much processnig time it takes to get my visa;

My problem is that i have a got one more job offer in singapore with 60% of salary of 1st job... so i want to give a try for UK job...

what will be critical things during this visa processing time...i will really appreciate if someone can shed some light on this... stating their recent experience, how easy or difficult to get the visa in this situation...

Now it is taking 3 to 4 weeks of time for work/hsmp visa processing.
Chances of getting visa depends on the company which sponsered you. Mean how good it is~?

FYI - I have been waiting over 10 weeks now myself, and no communication of anything wrong with it (aka needing more documentation).

It is not required to give the relieving letter from your current employer.
Current employer appointment letter and old employments` relieving letters are required
