ILR queries

Post by ozyy85 » Wed May 06, 2015 10:22 am

Hello all,

I've got couple of queries regarding ILR.

I'm on Tier 1 General and going for my ILR at the end of the year and have couple of questions.

- My wife (my dependent) need to go through English language test and we are not sure about the minimum requirement she needs to meet.

-Do we have to pay the new NHS fee when applying for ILR.

Thanks for your help.

If your wife is applying for ILR then she needs English Level B1

NHS surcharge is not applicable if applying for ILR so no, you do not have to pay.

Thanks for the quick response but just to let you know that me and my wife are from outside the EU , does that mean we still don't have to pay?

https://www.gov.uk/healthcare-immigrati ... eed-to-pay
When you don’t have to pay or get an IHS reference number

You don’t need to get an IHS reference number or pay the healthcare surcharge if:

you’re applying for a visitor visa
you’re applying for indefinite leave to remain
