@wheatfiled : Your application has been approved. Wait for the ceremony invitation letter then you can book your ceremony to receive your certificate. Shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks for this letter.

I did receive the addition 3-6 months letter. The HO wrote to MP and said the applications from July - Dec were not processed until that special report came out. When they started to process again, all the checks they had done were expired (I think they have to be within the previous 3 months) so they had to do them all again. Good luck everyone, it seems to be moving faster now! I'm not confident about getting my passport quickly -- it's going to the same people! lol

I got the 3-6 month letter in January, which was already past the 6 month cut-off. My MP wrote to the HO F O U R times since February 2015 -- FOUR!! She really did a good job trying to get things moving along, and that's how she discovered they had to do the checks all over again. So, basically, they had to start all the applications over from scratch in January. It does seem that they are putting some effort into processing now; especially with the election coming up. I hope you will all get your approval letters SOON!

Looks like the things came to a hold again.
No movements for any of April, May, June or July.
This starts to become the worst waiting experience in my life...

I got my approval in February, took 7 month in total, having contacted my local MP for his help and receiving the approval shortly after, I thought the MP had helped but guess what I just received a letter from my MP saying that he hasn't heard anything and he would "chase it up". Contacting MP is clearly an absolute waste of time, I am really sorry that you still waiting, I know well how demoraling it can be.
Best wishes

I think you are right. I contacted my MP and received 2 letters from her but after that - NOTHING
I'm not sure if the MPs actually make any difference.
Thanks for wishes!!!
Hopefully God will end this suffering soon :)
