I have an update.

I applied for my son (1 year old) through NCS Basingstoke on 1 April 2015 - MN1 application. The Home office have deducted the amount on 25 April 2015 for £ 669. Need to wait for the certificate to be approved and delivered.

Hadi she doesnt need to have her biometrics done if you applied on 2nd April 2015. The requirement is for people who have applied on 6 April 2015 or after this date. However depending on the form you have used she might be required to provide her biometrics. Home office informed me any application received before the 6 April 2015 will be exempted.That is what HO informed me....good luck with your application

I applied MN1 for my son on 24th feb payment deducted 03rd mar. Till now waiting.
Can someone tell why some people getting in a month time and some waiting for a long lime?
Its mean its not first come first serve basis?
Me and my wife both got ILR. Son is 7 years old UK born. Absence from UK is inside allowed period? I dont know why taking so long time ?

Thanks for good information . I applied on new form and applied on 02/04/2015. But home office received 07/04/2015. But he charge me old fee £669. I am still Wait for acknowledgement.

I can see from some posts that there has been a lengthy delay in HO deducting the fee for applications towards end of March 15 and beginning of April 15. Could it be due to the New Bio-metric registration requirement.

The money has been deducted after almost a month. Lets hope the process is faster from here onward.

I sent the application for my 3 Kids. I have seen that some people paid the fee of £669 for each applicant, but in my case they deduct £749 for each applicant. I have filled the new application form. Any one got their biomatric letter yet?

Dear Members,

I am filling MN1 form for two of my kids both born in Uk one will be 5 in September and other 4 in August this year inshaAllha.

Me and my wife recently got ILR, my kids go to nursery school.

Do we need to fill Section 2 and section 3, Section 4, from 4.1 to 4.4?

What about Section 6.12, do I need to put yes? But they only had picture taken as Bio Metric not any finger prints.

Hi All,

Just thought I should add my son's timeline.

Applied under section 1(3) on 18/03/15, I posted it myself on 18/03/15 using recorded delivery but it wasnt delivered by royal mail until 24/03/15, this is another story with Royal mail as I had a chat with them about the delay and they sent me 6 first class stamps for the delay which more than cover the postage cost.

So the HO received the application on 24/03/15 but didnt take payment till 30/03/15.

I have just being informed the application has been successful and they have returned all the documents including the photocopy of my British passport - I wasnt expecting this back -, so we now await the certificate. It was approved on 06/05/15 and documents received today 08/05/15.

My son was already a dual national - EU national and Common Wealth national so this makes his 3rd one.
