Does Tier1 General and Tier 2 General Times Counts for ILR

Dear All
If some one Spend 4 years on Tier1 General and then switch to Tier 2 General as Tier 1 General Exension Closed already. Can these both times will counts towards ILR.
Also what will be the case for this Dependents. Can they also appliy ILR same on 4 years Tier1 General Dependant and then 1 year on tier 2 General Dependant.

Please share your knowledge and reference links from home office if possible.

Thanks cs95tdg. According to this rules we can count time spent on Tier1 General plus Tier2. Does same will apply for Dependant as well. i means after the main applicant switch to Tier 2 and dependant visa also extend based on Tier 2, so then same time they can all apply for ILR. I means to say that dependant Clock is going to Reset with this or not.

Yes, if you read the details under 245HF it confirms that both Tier1 General & Tier2 General leave can be considered towards your 5 year residence period for ILR. As far as I'm aware your dependent will also be able to apply... But please read the information under Q12/13 of the FAQ sticky to verify as there are differences based on whether their initial stay was granted pre 09-July-2012 or post 08-July-2012. http://www.immigrationboards.com/indefi ... 79378.html
