ICT Long term_ is salary of over 41000 mandatory?

Hello my dear Experts,
I am currently working as a Technical Lead and will be completing one year in my current company shortly. My company is planning to apply for a long term visa(ICT Long term Staff) for me.

My question is what is the eligibility for applying ICT Long Term Visa?

Do i need to have a salary of over 41000 GBP mandatory?
or Salary based on my position as Tech lead is enough(I was told that my salary would be close to 30000)?

As per the UKBA rules, for T2 ICT Long-term visa the annual salary should be above £41500 or the equivalent salary threshold of the SOC, whichever is HIGHER. Going by that rule, you should have a min. of £41500 annual salary to be eligible for T2 Long-term visa.
