I think u should be fine with Premium Service. U would need following if you are going for Long Residence.andante.spianato wrote:Hi All,
My status is below. As far as I know, I have not overstayed as I always have application/appeal or valid visa over last 10 years.
My question is
1. Can I apply for 10 year LR now using 1 day service?
2. What supporting documents do I have to provide?
- All passports & residence cards
- Covering letter (to explain the gap in visas)
- Anything else? Do I need to provide 5 years P60, or council tax bills? I only have them over the past 3 years, but not for the first 7 years...
Sep 2004 - came to UK under student visa
Oct 2008 - applied for PSW, got refused due to funds in bank, appealed, got visa in June 2009
Jul 2011 - Tier 2 (general) visa from work, valid for 3 years
May 2013 - current: Residence Permit as EEA spouse
Many thanks!!!
The surcharge is not applicable for ILR applications. It is only for entry clearance and visa extensions or visa switches.kmyousafzai wrote:Dear Forum Reader
Question: 10 years long residence (ILR) need to pay NHS Health Surcharge.
I would like to apply for 10 years long residence (ILR) application as premium services, should I need to pay for health surcharge?
Thank you
I don't know, but I'm glad they do now! £400 is expensive but well spent to spare you all the documents away for months on end and a length stressful wait!talkhome wrote:Since when UKVI started accepting 1 day premium applications for 10 years Long residency?
I wasn't asked any question so I don't know. I don't think there's any place in the system that flags up when you overwork, but I could be wrong.sinaeed wrote:Hi Andante,
Congrats on your visa
I will be applying for ILR under 10 year visa at the end of this year. do you think they will ask me questions if I have over worked while I was on a student visa?
Thanks mate

justice007 wrote:Hello Everyone,
I am applying for same day Set LR (10 years long residence) in August from Croydon Peo.
I have been in UK from 2005 and spent first 7 years on student visa + 2 years PSW and last 3 years on EU Spouse visa (EU Residence Permit),
I would just like to confirm if it's ok to apply for same day application or there will be any issue ? has anyone with such immigration history granted Same day visa successfully.
I am providing following documents as evidence :
1. My Original Degree certificate and transcripts.
2. My Passport covering all history of travel.
3. Printed Itinerary (flight tickets and invoice) and spreadsheet explaining my travel history (Matching my entry and exit stamps on passport).
4. My P60's and Payslips (Online Printed both).
5. My Bank Statements of last 12 months.
6. Letter of Employment verification from my Employer stating my joining date and salary.
7. SAR file (I requested this to check my previous immigration history).
8. 4 passport size photo.
For my time spent under EU Spouse visa (EU Residence visa)
1. My wife's payslips and p60's (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa) (Online copies).
2. My wife's Letter of Employment verification from her Employer stating my joining date and salary her job title.
3. My Wife's original bank statements of 6 months.
4. Our joint account bank Statements of 12 months.
5. Our tenancy agreements (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
6. Council tax bills (annual) (covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
7. Utility bills (Water and Electricity)(covering all the 3 years since we got married and i am on EU Spouse visa).
9. Tv License bills (Annual)
10. My wife's passport original and one true copy.
11. Marriage Certificate original and one true copy.
12. 4 passport size photo.
Will this be sufficient enough to get Same Day Visa for Set LR (10 years Long residence) ?
Also, Payslips and P60's are printed copy from online account since our employers no longer issue printed copy however our Bank statements (Mine of 12 months and hers of 6 months shows same the amount getting deposited every month). Will this be sufficient enough as employers refused to stamp or provide any further info regards to this apart from Employer reference stating salary, time since joined and job title.
Many Thanks.
I will appreciate if someone can reply who has gone through similar type of visa and similar to my situation or any of your experts advise is really appreciated.
Can u please update with the list of documents u had providedjustice007 wrote:Hello Everyone,

thank you so much i was in a lott of stress. My ilr is due on 2 october and i have been on eea residence permit since may 2014.justice007 wrote:Hi
My Visa was granted in Same day.
I went to Croydon Peo. It took overall 3 hours from in and out. Very good experience.
I submitted all of the documents mentioned above.
Not sure if all were required or not but didn't cared. Got everything along with set of photocopy of each document in separate file.
Time spend under EU is counted however it will be under discretion of Caseworker but generally shouldn't be a problem I guess.
Wish you all the very best.
And also wana know if they asked any questions about ur previous history in uk as a student???Vickyali wrote:thank you so much i was in a lott of stress. My ilr is due on 2 october and i have been on eea residence permit since may 2014.justice007 wrote:Hi
